The Client
The idea of the EcoTrail® was born in 2007 in the suburbs of Paris. Today 9 European Cities are hosting an EcoTrail® run. The concept of the EcoTrail® was born from the desire to create eco-responsible trail running events accessible to inhabitants of major cities and the suburbs. The events aim at highlighting the natural and cultural environment of a region, emphasizing the importance of respecting the environment, as well as promoting trail running and outdoor sports.
What we did
Greener Events held a sponsorship workshop where the organizer of EcoRun Oslo learned about concept development and strategies for sustainable sponsorships.
Results
The organizer used what they learned to make a concept, a strategy, and succeeded in finding sponsors that were a good match for the event's sustainable goals.
